How can Coach Denny help?

Since 2004, Denny Baseball has helped MLB, MiLB, collegiate and amateur athletes and teams reach maximum potential physically, mentally and strategically. Coach Denny has personally experienced and overcome many of the obstacles that elite high school, collegiate and pro athletes face as a dual-sport D1 athlete and pro athlete. He has been training and mentoring athletes for over 12 years as a hitting coach but with so much more than the swing behind his approach. After years of closely mentoring the same little leaguers through their childhood careers, seeing them through high school and the recruiting process, Coach Denny has mentored those athletes in college across the country, counseling and advising them through everything from hitting issues, team chemistry and coaching issues, confidence slumps, to pressures and distractions in a college and professional team setting. A personal familiarity with these experiences, the knowledge of how to solve these problems (physical or mental), and an ability to communicate effectively, personally and responsibly to athletes has allowed him to guide athletes through ups and downs of sports at all levels:
  • Mental preparation (toughness, perseverance), encouragement and guidance through difficult or unfamiliar obstacles
  • Hitting technique for particular goals or to correct hitting problems (even via phone)
  • Interpersonal issues (coaches, teammates, parents, professors, managers)
  • Providing athlete counsel and support for almost any other issue. Athletes benefit from the support and advice of someone who has been in their shoes and has figured out how to cope with the many challenges they face and who has many years of experience consulting other athletes through these challenges.

John offers individual and team training from his Orlando-area indoor facility. He also offers phone and Skype sessions. For professional athletes, offseason workouts and in-season tune-ups are available in Florida, Arizona or at your location; Please call or e-mail for information.
